One LULURUN armband cannot carry two runners' phones on their arms at the same time. If you are considering taking turns, start with your schedules: each person needs a separate compatibility and fit check, and the next wearer needs to set it up again for their own phone and arm.
Sharing is a choice to consider, not a manufacturer recommendation or a claim that it will suit two people. If your outings overlap, or either person dislikes the arrangement, keep separate carry methods. Buying another armband is not the only alternative.
Compare the two runs before comparing the two phones
Imagine one person heads out before breakfast and another likes an afternoon neighborhood loop. Their use times might leave room to take turns. Now imagine both people want to leave together, each with a phone: one armband does not provide two independent places to wear those phones.
Neither example proves sharing will work in your home. It simply tells you which conversation to have first.

Ask each other:
- Do our actual outings overlap, including getting ready and returning home?
- Will the armband be back before the next person needs to leave?
- Are we both happy taking time to change the phone and readjust the band?
- Does either person prefer keeping their own carry setup ready?
If the answer is already “we both need it at once,” you can stop here. One person can keep a suitable existing pocket or belt, or each can choose a carry method independently. There is no need to turn a shared running habit into matching equipment.
Check each person independently
Do not carry one person's successful fit across to the other person. LULURUN's published phone range is 5.0–6.9 inches with slim or clear cases. Thick, rugged and MagSafe wallet cases are not compatible; a thick clear case is not an exception.
That means two different phones create two different checks. Even matching phone models do not settle the question if the cases differ. For the details, see the phone-case compatibility guide.
The stated upper-arm range is 10–16 inches (25–41 cm). The product instructions call for measuring above the elbow and adjusting the strap snugly without pinching. Each wearer needs to check their own fit; one person's strap setting is not a fit guarantee for someone else.
If either setup falls outside the published conditions, do not treat sharing as a reason to force the fit. Check the current product page and ask about the exact setup before ordering if you are unsure.
Make the handover a fresh setup
Treat the next outing as the next person's setup, not as a continuation of the previous person's fitting.
LULURUN uses an open silicone holder that grips the phone at its corners. Its detachable mount uses a 90° twist lock. Those product features do not establish a tested two-person swapping routine or promise that a handover will be quick.
For the next wearer, use the published fitting instructions again:
- Place their compatible phone in the holder and check that each corner is held securely.
- Position the band on their upper arm and adjust it so it feels snug without pinching.
- Check that the detachable mount is locked in place.
- Move the arm naturally, then walk or jog briefly to check the fit and adjust before picking up the pace.

Pause somewhere safe before using or detaching the phone. The detachable-mount guide explains the mechanism; it is not evidence that a previous wearer's settings can be left unchanged.
Decide what would make sharing too much bother
Agree on an ordinary fallback rather than a perfect handover. Perhaps the second person uses an existing secure pocket if the first run finishes late. Perhaps you decide you would rather not exchange the gear at all. Both are reasonable preferences.
You can also decide that keeping a carrier ready for yourself matters more than sharing one. That does not make your runs more serious or your partner's choice less thoughtful. It is simply a different way to leave the house.

This article does not establish a cleaning or disinfection procedure, a drying time, hygiene suitability, or the durability of repeated swaps. Do not treat its scheduling checklist as evidence for any of those things. If a specific care requirement matters to your decision, ask for instructions for the actual product rather than applying a generic fabric-armband cleaning guide.
FAQ
Can two people use one LULURUN armband on the same outing? Not as two separate phone carriers worn at the same time. If both people want their own phones mounted on their arms, one armband does not provide that arrangement; choose independent carry methods.
If my phone fits, does my partner only need to change the strap? No. Check the second person's phone, case and arm fit independently, then repeat the holder, strap and mount checks. A successful fit for one person does not establish a successful fit for another.
Does this mean LULURUN recommends sharing its armband? No. This is an editorial way to think through schedules and individual fitting conditions, not a shared-use endorsement or a hygiene, comfort or durability test.
